EXPERIENCED DRIVERS GETTING YOUR CPC CARD
You automatically qualify for a CPC card, If you had your bus licence on or before the 10th September 2008 / truck licence on or before the 10th of September 2009. Date of issue of licence for the category is proof of acquired rights. You still must complete a days of training every year. If you have both bus and truck you must do an extra days training every 5 years.
NEW DRIVERS GETTING YOUR CPC CARD
If you wish to become a professional driver and get your CPC card you must complete the following:
two hour multiple choice theory test,
two hour case study theory test,

30 minute practical test

When you pass these exams you can apply for your full licence and your CPC card. You will have to complete a days training every year to maintain your CPC card. If you have both bus and truck you must complete an extra days training every 5 years.
